2. The student leader participates in a service activity or project to serve a specific need to others. Earlier this year i was one of the few that stayed after the Night Rally was over and helped clean up the glitter and confetti that was popped after the Senior skit. The amount of confetti that was cleaned up was unexplainable. I helped to clean up the best we could as staff members brought leaf blowers to help the situation. That weekend i went back to try and clean some more of that confetti off of the turf field by blow drying. We were successful, but unfortunately there are still little pieces still there.
Personal & Social Development
Standard 1: Group Dynamics
1. The student leader acknowledges different personality types and how to work together in an all-inclusive group setting. I was a Link Crew Leader, where i welcomed a group Freshman that were assigned to me. I introduced myself to them to allow them to get to know me. I came up with fun activities and ice breakers to get everyone out of their comfort zones. They all introduced themselves, providing something about them. At the start everyone was shy, but by the end most of the Freshman in my group were comfortable with me and others in my group. This helped them become prepared and familiar with highschool and other students to step out of their comfort zones.

Standard 4: Effective Meetings
4. The student utilizes inclusive meeting strategies for brainstorming, prioritizing, and project planning. I have participated in many Class meetings involving the Senior class this year. In these Class meetings we go over important activities, where we give our opinions on. For an example, spirit days, dance themes, and fundraisers. After the meeting is adjourned, we either have made the decision on it together, or we bring it to the rest of the class to give their opinion. I have produced great ideas with spirit day ideas and most importantly my opinions on our class clothing that was sold to the Senior class at Tracy High School.
